There are a lot of flowers in New York.  Having successfully killed a begonia and in the process of extinguishing the life force of an azalea, I’ve only gotten more impressed by the number of flowering plants that live and then return every spring/summer.475746367_6a59225be1 This picture of tulips to the left is from my street.  These tulips come out for like two weeks every April, but they transform the street.
